中國的制瓷史已有數千年，歷代的傳承與發展也使人們對陶瓷品質的要求越來越高。

在電窯以及瓦斯窯作發明前，所有的陶瓷燒製皆以柴窯來完成，近年來每位陶藝師對於其柴燒作品，都有自己想呈現的獨特風格。

本次講座將由陶藝家彭宗文先生分享柴燒技術在現代藝術中的應用，以及當代藝術家如何將傳統柴燒技術與現代元素結合，創造出令人嘆為觀止的作品。

China's history of porcelain making spans thousands of years, with each dynasty's inheritance and development leading to increasingly higher standards for ceramic quality. Before the invention of electric and gas kilns, all ceramics were fired using wood-fired kilns. In recent years, every ceramic artist has their own unique style they wish to present in their wood-fired pieces. This lecture, led by Mr. Peng, the Ceramic Artist, will explore the application of wood-firing techniques in modern art and how contemporary artists combine traditional wood-firing techniques with modern elements to create truly remarkable works.
